Magnolia Wu Unfolds it All

Chanel Miller tells the story of ten-year-old Magnolia Wu, whose Chinese immigrant parents own a laundromat in New York City.  She has gathered up all of the lost socks from the laundromat that nobody has claimed, and decides to solve the mystery of each missing sock.  While exploring the streets of her neighborhood, she meets some very endearing and interesting people, and learns that people aren’t always what they seem. This is a Newbery Honor book.
