Born & raised in Maryland, Katrice graduated in 2018 from Mount St. Mary’s University where she played D1 basketball for four years. As a senior, she started all 29 games, averaging 10.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists while ranking third in the Northeast Conference with 34.4 minutes per game.
Following her playing career, she served as an assistant on both high school and AAU coaching staffs as well as serving as a player development coach. She returned to Mount St. Mary’s in 2019 as Director of Basketball Operations, being part of the NEC Championship staff during the 2020-2021 season.
Prior to her current position with the Wizards, Katrice served as Manager of Community Relations for the Utah Jazz. In her role, she built programming for the greater Utah community, managed outreach efforts, and prioritized relationships with local non-profits and schools to further community development efforts. She is excited to be back home and use all her experiences to benefit and grow the D.C. and greater DMV community in her role as Senior Manager of Youth Basketball Growth & Development.
