Coach Clancy has led the Jr. Wizards youth basketball platform since its relaunch in the spring of 2017.
A native of Long Island, New York, Coach Clancy has an extensive background in coaching and camp supervision. He served as an assistant coach at nationally ranked Long Island Lutheran High School from 2006 to 2012 – winning three New York State Federation State Championships along the way. Coach Clancy also directed the LuHi Summer Basketball School – the longest running basketball camp on Long Island (past directors include the likes of Bob McKillop) – and was an Assistant Director of LuHi Summer Programs – one of the largest day camp providers on the East Coast, serving over 5,000 campers each year.
Prior to coming to the Wizards, Clancy served as the Director of Sports and Maccabi Programming at the 92nd Street Y – a world famous cultural institution located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. He played collegiately at New England College in Henniker, NH.
